Malaysian Minister of Science, Technology & Innovations visits TARRC
TARRC was delighted to welome YB Dato' Sri Dr Jamaludin Jarjis, the Malaysian Minister of Science, Technology & Innovations, to Brickendonbury on Wednesday 22nd December 2004.
The Minister was briefed by Dr Andrew Tinker, Director of Research, on the activities of TARRC and given a tour of the laboratories and facilities. The tour, conducted by the Director, concentrated mainly on the two areas in which TARRC provide vital research support to the Malaysian industry; the production of thermoplastic elastomers and product development and design, through from manufacturing to performance testing.
The Minister then signed the Visitor's book and a presentation by the Vice-Chairman of TARRC, Dr Sidek Dulngali, was made to thank the Minister for his visit. The gift of a crystal vase was gratfully accepted by the Minister.
