TARRC & Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Opportunities.

TARRC is your source for quality rubber products with expert technical support. TARRC can be your trade and investment route to the Malaysian rubber industry.

Recognising the need for further development of the rubber product manufacturing industry in Malaysia, the Board instigated a re-alignment of the structure of TARRC to strengthen activities aimed at providing assistance in respect of manufacturing productivity and efficiency and of promotion of Malaysian products. The Industry Development and Promotion Division (IDPD) was formed in 2003 with these twin objectives.

Malaysia's success in the rubber sector is due to the close-knit network of relationships between industry, science and research.

Although Malaysia is the world's largest producer of latex based products (particularly latex gloves) there has also been a rapid expansion in the industrial and general rubber goods sector in recent years. Over 300 companies are engaged in manufacturing a wide range of products of the highest quality.

TARRC's Industry Development and Promotion Division (IDPD) can provide the first point of contact for any enquiries from Europe concerning sourcing Malaysian rubber products, investment, outsourcing through licensing or subcontracting arrangements, joint ventures or any other business opportunities. TARRC can help you develop business relationships between Malaysian suppliers and European buyers, providing technical assistance and advice when required.

TARRC is part of the back-up and support that Malaysia can provide to potential investors in the Malaysian rubber industry:
