Hamid Ahmadi, TARRC's Head of Engineering Products & Design Division presented a paper at the 12th World Conference on Seismic Isolation, Energy Dissipation and Active Vibration Control of Structures (WCSI) which was held in Sochi, Russia. The conference was from 20th - 23rd September 2011.

Hamid's paper was entitled: 'SEISMIC PROTECTION OF THE 2ND PENANG CROSSING USING HIGH DAMPING NATURAL RUBBER ISOLATORS.' Authors: Ismail M. Taib, Abdul Aziz Hanifah, Kamarudin Ab-Malek, Hamid Ahmadi, Alan Muhr, Ian Stephens, Julia Gough, Judith Picken, Lee Jian Jun, Muhammad Umar Zulkefli.

The paper was given on the Thursday 22nd September as part of the Special Session: 'Seismic isolation design codes in different countries and perspectives of their development and harmonization'.
